Aimée Garbutt
Principal
Aimée has known since she was in high school that she wanted to be a teacher and that she wanted to work with children and youth. She has been working in the education field since 2008 gaining experience as a high school teacher, supply teacher, and a child care educator.
Aimée was raised in a christian home but didn’t accept Christ until she was 28 years old. On the other side of being an “at-risk” youth, Aimée desires to share the love of Christ with as many young people as she can. Aimée enjoys quilting, knitting, crocheting, and baking. She also enjoys staying active by backcountry camping with her husband and walking her dog, Stella.
Their door is always open to the neighbourhood kids and she is so pleased to have the opportunity to be serving at Issachar Christian Academy.
