Academics

At Issachar Christian Academy (ICA), we view education as both an intellectual and spiritual endeavor. Our academic  program integrates strong, balanced instruction with Biblical truth and meaningful relationships. Students are encouraged to grow in knowledge, character, and faith as they discover and nurture their God‑given abilities.

Learn About Enrollment at ICA

Small classes and dedicated, caring, and professional teachers allow every student to be known, supported, and appropriately challenged. At ICA, students learn about God’s world and their place in it.

Christ Centered Learning

Our goal is to help students

  • Develop strong critical‑thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Recognize their identity and calling in Christ

  • Apply scriptural truth to academics, relationships, and everyday decision-making

The education program at ICA is approached through a biblical worldview. We use the Ontario curriculum as a strong academic foundation and intentionally adapt it so that biblical truth informs learning while maintaining rigorous academic expectations.

Leadership Opportunities

As a close-knit school community,  ICA provides many opportunities for students to grow as leaders. Students  practice servant leadership through opportunities such as:

  • Classroom responsibilities and mentorship

  • Chapel participation

  • School service projects

  • Assisting younger students

Through these experiences, students learn to serve others, lead with humility, and reflect Christ’s character in everyday life.
